WoodCreek Development is involved in the creation of multi-family developments in the South Texas area.


The company’s first multi-family project was Willow Lake Apartments in Katy, located at 2425 Katy Flewellen Road, near the popular Katy Mills Mall. WoodCreek Development purchased this land, situated at the entry to the master-planned community of Grayson Lakes. Through a joint venture partnership, WoodCreek Development made all the development improvements for the Class A project, while Greystar Development was hired to be the General Contractor and Management Company for the 322-unit complex. This successful project was recently sold to an investor in California after stabilizing at a 95% occupancy rate.


The success of this first project led to the company’s second multi-family project. Willow Lake Port Arthur is now under construction. Nearly identical to the Katy complex, this project will have 372 units. The $28 million construction project will be complete in the summer of 2008.


Both complexes are very high-end and include 1- and 2-car garages, car ports, lavish clubhouse, swimming pool and exercise facilities for residents.
